Position: Construction Superintendent


The Construction Superintendent manages the construction of all homes that are assigned to him/her starting with foundation layout to the completion of the home. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the construction schedule, management of the site and subcontractors, and the overall construction quality of the homes.

Essential Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Work with main office to develop and maintain construction schedules for assigned project(s).
  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure the completion of the project(s) per the schedule.
  • Perform the quality control duties necessary for the project(s) through consistent inspections and punch-lists
  • Interface with public agencies/inspectors for all inspections and signoffs
  • Create and follow through on RFI’s with in-house project managers and architects
  • Review and implement all plans, subcontracts, purchase orders and other related material
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure that they are fulfilling their contractual obligations
  • Ensure that all installed work in homes is correctly protected per company policies
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite at all times, including running weekly safety meetings with subcontractors
  • Responsible for communicating with all departments any issues or concerns that affect the project(s).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years superintendent level experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to review and comprehend all plans and specifications with a thorough knowledge of all trades
  • Demonstrate safety standards/habits with the ability to enforce safety policies on assigned project(s)
  • Good organizational skills and disciplined follow through.
  • Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate with multiple departments to meet budget, schedule and required quality

Working Conditions:

  • Will be required to travel for projects as needed: i.e., main office, other sites, hardware stores, vendors, etc.
  • Must have the physical stamina to walk through a construction site, houses under construction, climb scaffolding, walk on roofs etc.
  • Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, requiring employee to follow and enforce safety measures
  • Work is performed inside and outside in all types of weather

Position: Customer Service Coordinator


The Customer Service Coordinator provides vital communication between homebuyers and the customer care department and supports the department in various administrative duties. Often, the first point of contact for our homebuyers, it is important that this individual have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The right candidate must take initiative, be solution oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage telephone and written inquiries from homeowners, renters, and subcontractors.
  • Obtain documentation for the Finished Home Orientations (walkthroughs)
  • Coordinate scheduling of service responses and communicate service requests to field personnel
  • File all related documents in lot files as required
  • Vetting all customer service requests promptly and scheduling customer service representatives and/ or subcontractors as needed.
  • Entering all work orders into company database within the same day, including subcontractor’s report of work performed as repairs are conducted/ resolved.
  • Maintain metrics report weekly
  • Working with customer service team to identify appropriate subcontractors, send work orders, and follow up with subcontractors to make sure they have responses to homeowners within appropriate time.
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding the status of their repairs and requests to ensure all schedules are completed.
  • Confirming all appointments a day ahead with homeowners and subcontractors
  • Following up with homeowners following repairs, via email, to ensure that they are satisfied with the results.
  • Visit company sites as needed to accompany vendors, pick up supplies, conduct walkthroughs ( at rental properties) as needed
  • Provide phone coverage for Front Office reception as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is preferable
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in residential home building industry or related customer care function.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
