Mark Robson is the creative force and hands-on leader at Robson Homes, which he founded in 1989. With his remarkable blend of vision, dedication to design excellence, and an ability to inspire a close-knit team, Mark has driven Robson Homes to become a beacon of quality in the homebuilding industry. His day-to-day involvement ensures the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence remains front and center.
With a strong foundation in business and economics from Santa Clara University and The University of Southern California, Mark combines his keen sense of design with entrepreneurial drive to steer Robson Homes toward continued success. A proud resident of Los Gatos for over 27 years, Mark balances his professional accomplishments with a fulfilling personal life as a father of four and grandfather of three.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mark is deeply invested in his community, actively participating in various civic and charitable organizations. His commitment to giving back was highlighted in 2023 when Robson Homes was celebrated as the 41st most philanthropic company in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Mark currently serves on the Board of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Regents at Santa Clara University.
When he’s not combing meticulously over architectural and landscape plans or spending time with his family, you might find Mark imbibing at a local restaurant, golfing, or tackling the Camino De Santiago – his love for long walks extends beyond the neighborhood!
Darren Holland has been a pivotal force at Robson Homes for over 19 years, driving excellence in Quality Control, Construction, and Purchasing. With a blend of aesthetic sensibility and mathematical precision, Darren is celebrated for his ability to seamlessly integrate creativity with technical expertise.
Darren’s impressive educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management from Stanford University. This robust foundation allows him to excel as both a visionary and a meticulous planner, leading with a unique perspective that enriches every project.
As a wonderful leader and motivator, Darren’s exceptional communication skills enable him to collaborate effortlessly with designers and engineers, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment. Known for his problem-solving abilities and unwavering commitment to quality, he never settles for anything less than perfection, ensuring meticulous execution in the field.
Beyond his professional prowess, Darren is a devoted husband and father, deeply involved in his church community, and renowned for his singing talent. Whether leading a Happy Birthday song or delivering an inspiring speech, Darren’s charismatic presence and all-around good nature shine through.
Sam Lee has helped shape the beauty and quality of Robson Homes’ projects for over 16 years, leading architectural and site design with creativity and innovation. A licensed Architect and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Sam’s expertise extends across neighborhood planning, architectural design, and detailing.
Sam’s educational foundation, a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley, equips him with a robust understanding of architectural principles, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetic brilliance. Sam is the critical link between our in-house team and our talented architect partners, consistently elevating Robson’s projects to new heights of excellence.
Residing in Mountain View with his wife and two children, Sam balances his professional achievements with a rich personal life. When he’s not sketching designs or refining plans with his signature green pen, he enjoys golfing, entertaining, and being a very devoted father. Sam’s dedication both on and off the drawing board makes him an invaluable asset to our team.
Charles Baldwin has been an indispensable leader at Robson Homes for over 25 years, steering the Sales & Marketing team with a keen understanding of our homebuyers and the real estate market. Charles combines his innate salesmanship with a creativity, driving innovative ideas that resonate with our buyers and elevate our projects.
Charles is a natural salesman who thrives on personal interactions, building lasting relationships, and ensuring exceptional experiences for every homebuyer. His approach is both strategic and personable, blending his love for the homebuilding industry with a genuine joy in connecting with people. With a sharp sense of humor, Charles infuses fun and positivity into the workplace, making every day more enjoyable for his team. His deep care for his colleagues and commitment to their success has cultivated a brilliant team of sales professionals who are as dedicated to Robson Homes as he is.
Outside the office, Charles is a devoted husband and father of two. He channels his passion for teamwork and precision into hobbies like playing ice hockey and fly-fishing. Charles’ leadership, creativity, and vibrant personality make him a cornerstone of Robson Homes.
