Marabel is located in the Newark Unified School District, in the attendance area for Birch Grove Primary School (grades K-2), Birch Grove Intermediate School (grades 3-5), Newark Middle School (grades 6-8), and Newark Memorial High School. Attendance is not guaranteed; please contact the school districts directly for more information.
Marabel is not a gated community. Yes, there is an HOA at Marabel, which will primarily be responsible for Common Area insurance, Common Area landscaping and front yard landscaping. The HOA does not cover any maintenance or insurance for the homes themselves. Dues are estimated to be $221.93 at build out. The full HOA Budgets are available for review in the sales office.
Marabel offers a short commute across the Dumbarton Bridge to Palo Alto and Highway 880 into Silicon Valley. It’s roughly 11 miles to Meta, 20 miles to Tesla, 18 miles to Google in Mountain View, and 12 miles to Cisco in San Jose.
Marabel homes are all-electric and come with an owned solar PV system, which is required by the city of Newark. The cost of the solar system is included in the price of the home if a buyer uses an Approved Lender to finance their home purchase. Otherwise, the cost of the solar system is not included in the sales price. Please consult a Sales Associate for complete details or to ask about how this program works for all cash purchases.
Marabel offers seven single-family floorplans, all 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Five floorplans are detached: Olvera (1,969–2,071 sq. ft.), Sierra (2,034–2,134 sq. ft.), Ronda (2,176–2,269 sq. ft.), Rosario (2,073–2,093 sq. ft.), and Serano (2,624 sq. ft.). Two floorplans are duet-style homes: Medina (2,042–2,129 sq. ft.) and Sidonia (2,173–2,284 sq. ft.).
Yes, the Marabel sales office and model homes are open Friday through Tuesday, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (closed Wednesday and Thursday). If you want to tour outside of these hours, we would be glad to accommodate your schedule. Simply call, email or text a Sales Associate to make an appointment.
